| Competition Guidelines |
| Monthly Club competitions consist primarily of prints. Members (and guests if they like) may bring up to two prints to a meeting (Beginning Feb. 2012 -- only one print per member). Prints are displayed on racks then viewed and scored by the attending Club members. First, Second, and Third, and Honorable Mention awards are made based on members' scoring. Some winners from our various competitions are shown in our Competition Gallery. No print dimension greater than 20 inches allowed for competition. Prints may be commercially generated, or darkroom or computer produced. Prints should be mounted on a foam or photo board no side to exceed 25". No glass or frames allowed. Limit two prints. If you would like to enter, please be sure to be in the restaurant by 6:00 pm to display your prints. Voting ballots will be handed out at 6:15pm, giving members the opportunity to vote from 6:15-6:30pm. Digital competitions occur several times a year. Images are submitted on CD, USB or email the preceding month. 1MB size limit with a recommended resolution of 1024x768. Limit two images. See a List of Upcoming Competition Topics |
